Who are we?
We are a Christian non-government organisation that believes in the importance of the family as the right of every child.  The foundation was created in 1996 under the Ministerial Agreement 0193 in order to provide care and protection for children who had fallen victim to abuse and abandonment.

Our Vision:
To be an efficient organisation in the protection of children in high risk situations and to provide family support.

What Do We Do?
In order to achieve our objectives and safeguard the physical and emotional integrity of the child we provide temporary lodging until conditions of security and stability have been restored in the home.   During this process the child receives housing, food, education, clothing, medical attention etc.  At the same time we attempt to establish a relationship with the parents or other family in order to instil in them the responsibility that they have towards their children and to strengthen the ties between them.   

Objectives:

• To provide vital aid for the children, healing the emotional wounds caused by abuse.
• To encourage good work ethic and spiritual and moral values. 
• To encourage a healthy family reunification. 
• To increase awareness of child abuse and improve the treatment of children in the community.

Celebrating six years in the Home "My-Refuge"

On the 26th of February this year the Home at the foundation completeted 6 years since the inauguration of this building. Six years ago our home opened our doors and since then the home has been full of children who have found a refuge and a family within these walls. Many children have passed through our home and their lives have been restored, and many volunteers from around the world have served in this refuge and their lives have also been touched.

To make the most of this date we met with all the personnel from the foundation to give thanks to God for his company and direction throughout this time.
