Projects:

Woodwork workshopAs a foundation we have various projects with the aim of being self-sufficient and providing manual training for the children that will aid them in entering the workforce once they leave the foundation.  This is an area open to those with skills in the different areas in which we have, or hope to have, projects.

Current Projects

Sewing Shop:  We currently produce and sell towel hats and we are considering the production of other products such as aprons as the city’s fishing industry creates a great demand for these.

Carpentry Workshop: We also have a carpentry area that has the necessary equipment to build wood and chipboard furniture.   Due to a lack of qualified staff the workshop is currently not being used and we are open to offers in this area.

Future Projects

Woodwork workshopBakery: We would like to establish a bakery which would provide bread and the likes for the foundation as well as being open to the public.  This project is now under way and we currently have two bread ovens.  In the future we hope to have a designated space for this project.

Display Store: With the growth of the sewing workshop we hope to be able to open a small shop to display and sell the products produced by the children.
