Volunteers:
The team of volunteers represents a vital part of the foundation; it is one of the engines that keeps life moving forward in the Home. The volunteers take on the role of older siblings responsible for the orientation of the children in their care. Working with the children and being a part of their lives gives a different vision of the social reality we live in and for those who wish to serve in this area it grants the satisfaction of being a part of a positive change to this reality.

A special time of service
The meaning of life is found in the service towards others.
The volunteer in the foundation can develop diverse projects in different areas working with the children according to his or her gifts and strengths. At the same time the volunteer witnesses and is a part of the integral development and restoration of the child while he or she is in the Home. There also exists a space in the foundation open to those skilled in the areas of psychology, social work, early childhood development etc.
Types of Volunteers
Each volunteer has a daily eight hour shift, five days a week, and is free to decide how to spend his or her free time. For those who decide to live in the Home, the foundation provides a room that is shared with the other volunteers of the same sex. For those who wish to live outside the Home the foundation looks for a family to host the volunteer.
- Living in the foundation
Cost: US$80 per month
- Living with a family outside the foundation
